What is a bedside crib?

Anna discovered the CoZee to be a safe, comfortable place to sleep for her infant. She liked that it didn't move like other models so she didn't wake up in the night trying to soothe her baby during feedings. As opposed to other bedside crib options The Iora can be folded flat and comes with a carry-on bag which allows it to be taken anywhere. It was easy to move around from room to room, and our mum testers believed it was the right size for a bedside crib. They also liked the large storage basket that is ideal for storing spare bedding or nappies.
This is a great option for parents who want to sleep together, but don't wish to share their bed. If one of the parents has mobility issues like arthritis or back pain. Our mum testers were thrilled to be able to easily access their child while in the Iora and that it included an option to have a reflux incline which helped alleviate gas.
Our moms love that it follows NICE guidelines. These include placing the baby in a Moses basket or crib on its own without blankets, toys or pillows. The mattress is also a good firm and comfortable for the baby, and sheets are readily available. It isn't as light as other cribs for bedside use however, so if you want something lighter and easier to move around with, consider one of the other options on our list.
